Phi Mu Is HΦΜE

This week I would like to share with you why Phi Mu is our HΦΜE. Joining a sorority is such a special time in your life and we are excited that our members feel like they have made the best decision by joining Phi Mu! We have such an amazing sisterhood and we want every girl to feel that special bond. Please read a few comments from our members about why Phi Mu is their home. 

"Growing up being an only child is something I was always content with. However, I always wished that I had siblings to hang out with, joke around with, and learn new things from. After joining Phi Mu, I realized what it's like to have not only sisters, but best friends. To me, Phi Mu is not just becoming friends with people just like me, but creating a forever lasting bond with the sisters I never had!"

"Before coming to college I was unsure about the whole sorority recruitment process. I know now that going through was one of the best decisions I have ever made! Being a member of Phi Mu has been such a blessing in ways that I never expected it to be. "Thinking about who I was before college always seems to shock me. In high school, I never thought of myself as a "sorority girl" or even a girl with a lot of "girlfriends". I was the girl who hung out with people older than me and majority of my friends were guys; less drama that way. As graduation came and went, I started to realize that I wanted to branch out more once I went to college because I didn’t give myself that opportunity in high school. As I went on my first tour, I fell in love with the campus but most importantly the people. A special group of woman caught my attention and I knew right then that I wanted to at least go through the process of Recruitment. Every night after all my recruitment parties, I prayed that God would automatically show me where my "Home" would be; as the week was coming close to an end; my mind kept going back to the Ladies of Phi Mu, these women were real and truly showed a sense of interest and wanting to get to know me. Obviously Phi Mu is my Home away from Home because ever since that week of recruitment they never stopped loving me. Granted, we aren't perfect and we all have our days, but that is what makes Phi Mu a home, we function like true sisters; knowing all our faults but loving each other just the same."
